This is a clinical analysis of 45 cases of atresia of jejunum and ileum which had been experienced from January 1982 to December 1991 at the department of Pediatric Surgery, Seoul National University Hospital.
There were 18 cases of Jejunal atresia, 23 cases of ileal atresia and 4 cases of both sites. Jejunal atresia cases were compared with ileal atresia statistically by Fisher's exact test. There were no statistical difference in gestational age,
birth
weight, sex ratio, associated anomaly, mortality, and duration of TPN. (Korean J Gastroenterol 1994 ; 26 ; 90-94)
